HOW TO PRINT PICTURES IN IRFAN 

  1. Open Irfan and the un-edited picture you wish to print.

  2. Depress Ctrl P and select desired Portrait or Landscape format.

  3. Check Inches box in the Units section at bottom of dialogue box.

  4. Check Aspect Ratio box in Print size section.

  5. Check Custom box in Print size section and enter desired picture width. (Height will be automatically entered)

  6. Observe picture in preview box and make final width adjustment as required then LC the Print box.

 

HOW TO CROP IN IRFAN

1.      Open Irfan and desired picture you wish to crop.

2.      While holding the left mouse button down, draw a rough Crop box around selected area.

3.      Reposition Crop box over crop area by Holding down the Right mouse button to move.

4.      Adjust Crop box size by positioning cursor over Crop box line until a double arrow appears.

5.      While still observing the Double arrow, Depress and hold Left Mouse button down and make final adjustment.

6.      When all adjustments are complete, Depress Ctrl Y, which will crop the picture.

7.      If you wish to print the cropped version repeat Steps 2 through 6 in the, HOW TO PRINT PICTURES IN IRFAN, section above. Otherwise, Depress the S key, append file name with the word “crop” to distinguish between the un-edited version and crop version then LC Save to desired directory.

 

HOW TO REMOVE, SAVE & DELETE PICTURES FROM DIGITAL CAMERA MEDIA

  1. Locate Digital Camera Media by LC My Computer then DC on the Removable Media Icon or if you are using a Floppy Disk DC on Drive A.

  2. Locate the pictures you wish to remove from media and Depress Ctrl A which will select all items in directory. In some cases their may be some disk formatting, non-picture (.jpg) files which may also be transferred and can be deleted if desired.

  3. LC on “Copy the selected items” in Files and Folders window on left of screen.

  4. Select the desired directory to which you wish to copy the pictures, and/or make a new folder if necessary by LC on Make new folder tab. LC on the Copy tab.

  5. When picture download is complete to your selected folder, verify they are present in the new folder.

  6. Once you verify the download, repeat Steps 1 and 2, then LC on “Delete the selected items”.
