STOP AUTOMATIC INTERNET LOGOFF

1.      LC on Start – then LC Control Panel – then Double Click (DC) on Phone and Modem Options.

2.      LC on Modems tab – then LC on Properties – then LC Advanced – then LC Change Default Preferences – Then uncheck the Disconnect…. box.

3.      LC OK three times and Close all windows.

ADD LABELING TO PHOTO WITH IRFAN EDITOR 

1. Open photo in Irfan. If you wish to use full size picture without resizing you need to experiment to determine Font type, size and color.

2. Depress the Ctrl R Keys and LC Inches. Note size of picture in inches. LC OK.

3. Draw text box shape by positioning cursor in area where you want the text and while depressing and holding LC button down draw box shape sufficient to contain all of the desired text. You will need to “cut and try” until you arrive at the optimum combination of text and box size. Text will be cut off if it extends beyond box boundaries. So be sure box is of sufficient size.

4. When box shape is drawn, depress the Ctrl T Key. I suggest using Transparent Text so check the Transparent box. If picture size noted in Step 2 is say 30 inches wide select a font size around 60 as a start. Select a good contrasting color and character type.

5. Proceed to enter desired information and LC OK when complete. If you goof or wish to redo labeling, LC on the curved Back Arrow in top tool bar or LC File then LC Reopen.

6. Go back and complete Steps 3 through 5.

7. Depress the S Key and append existing file name with the letter A – LC Save. This will save your newly annotated picture with a new file name.
